Real IRA terror chief Alan Ryan’s brother shot in Dublin

THE brother of murdered IRA terror chief Alan Ryan has been shot in Dublin.

It is understood Vincent Ryan, 25, was blasted in a car on McKee Road in Finglas and is believed to be in a serious condition.

RIRA chief Alan Ryan, 32, was shot several times at Grange Lodge Avenue, Clongriffin in September 2012.

Alan Ryan’s gang was involved in a long-running feud with another Dublin mob.

Vinnie suffered serious injuries when he was stabbed on Dublin’s Parnell Street last October and was warned by Gardai his life was in danger.

Local Fianna Fail Cllr Paul McAuliffe has condemned today’s shooting.

He said: “This happened in the heart of my community. My family lives in the area. It is frightening the way criminals are getting more and more brazen.

A garda spokesperson said: “A man has been brought to the Mater Hospital. His condition is described as serious.”

Investigating gardai are at the scene.
