Nel primo attacco cinque uomini a volto coperto hanno sparato tre volte alle gambe ad un uomo, abitante nella zona di Melmore Gardens, dopo essere entrati nella sua abitazione.
Più tardi, altri tre colpi di arma da fuoco sono stati esplosi alle gambe di un uomo, nella sua casa di Creggan Height. Anche in questo caso degli uomini sono penetrati nella sua abitazione.
La polizia ritiene collegati tra loro i presunti attacchi punitivi in stile paramilitare e ha chiesto informazione agli abitanti delle zone dove sono avvenute le aggressioni.

Police probe paramilitary style attacks
In the first attack, a man living in the Melmore Gardens area was shot three times in the legs after five masked men entered his house.
Later, a man living in Creggan Heights was shot three times in his left leg after masked men broke into his home.
Police believe the apparent paramilitary style punishment shootings are linked and they have asked anyone with information about them to get in touch with detectives.
