Due nuovi arresti per l’omicidio di Denis Donaldson
Arrests over Denis Donaldson murder
Two men have been arrested by Gardaí in connection with the murder of Denis Donaldson in Co Donegal in April 2006.
The men, one aged in his 40s and another in his 70s, were detained were detained in the Donegal area earlier on Tuesday.
They are being detained at Letterkenny Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
Mr Donaldson, 55, a senior Sinn Féin official, was gunned down at his remote hide-out near Glenties in Donegal just months after being outed as an MI5 informer.
The Real IRA later claimed responsibility for the murder.
