Elezioni Westminster: i risultati definitivi in Irlanda del Nord

Risultati Elezioni Generali di Westminster, 6 maggio 2010

Questi sono i risultati defitivi nelle 18 circoscrizioni in Irlanda del Nord.
Il DUP conquista 8 seggi, 5 sono per lo Sinn Fein, 3 per il Social Democratic and Labour Party, 1 per l’Alliance Party ed uno per la candidata indipendente Lady Sylvia Hermon.
Lo Sinn Fein conferma il trend positivo mostrato alle elezioni europee dello scorso anno ed è il primo partito per numero di elettori (171.942 preferenze). Il DUP scivola duramente al secondo posto, perdendo l’8,7% dei voti rispetto alla precedenti elezioni generali. Buon guadagno per il partito interreligioso Alliance, che strappa il seggio di East Belfast al DUP e guadagna 2,4 punti percentuali.
Ancora in discesa gli Ulster Unionist, questa volta nella lista condivisa del Ulster Conservative Unionist New Force (UCUNF). Perdono ancora il 2,6% delle preferenze. Timido esordio per il TUV, fermato al 3,9% – poco più di 26.000 voti.
