Ennesimo arresto per la morte del lealista Tommy English

Un uomo è stato arrestato in connessione con l’omicidio del leader dell’Ulster Defence Association Tommy English.
Un portavoce della polizia ha confermato che l’arresto, avvenuto martedì, è stato eseguito dagli investigatori dell’Historical Enquiries Team.

L’uomo, 33 anni, è trattenuto in custodia e sta aiutando la polizia con le sue inchieste.

English, 40 anni, fu assassinato nella sua casa di Newtownabbey nell’ottobre 2000 durante una faida lealista.

Fino ad ora la polizia ha fermato 15 persone per la morte del paramilitare lealista. Ad oggi undici uomini sono stati accusati.

Arrest over loyalist’s murder

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the murder of UDA leader Tommy English.
A police spokesman confirmed the arrest was made on Tuesday by detectives from the Historical Enquiries Team.

The 33-year-old is in custody and is assisting police with their inquiries.

Mr English, 40, was shot dead at his home in Newtownabbey, in October 2000 during a loyalist feud.

A total of 15 people have now been arrested in connection with the loyalist’s murder. Eleven men have been charged to date.
