Una pipe bomb è esplosa vicino ad alcune abitazioni a Holywood, nella Contea di Down.
Gli artificieri dell’esercito sono stati chiamati ad intervenire in Church Green dopo che una donna aveva udito un forte scoppio proveniente dall’esterno della casa intorno alle 00:35 di martedì.
Una pipe bomb è stata recuperata e portata via per ulteriori indagini.
Le indagini sull’accaduto sono in corso e la polizia chiede ad eventuali testimoni di mettersi in contatto con loro.

A pipe bomb has exploded near houses in Holywood, Co Down.
The Army bomb squad were tasked to Church Green after a female resident heard a loud bang outside her home at 12.35am on Tuesday.
A pipe bomb was recovered and taken away for further forensic examinations.
No one is believed to have been injured during the incident.
Enquiries are continuing and police have appealed to anyone with any information to contact them on the new non-emergency number 101.
