Explosion at Guildhall Square in Londonderry
The explosion happened in the Guildhall Square area of Derry on Monday
There has been an explosion at Guildhall Square in Londonderry.
It happened at about 0330 GMT on Monday morning.
Army bomb experts are at the scene and there is a large police presence. The area is sealed off from Union Hall Place to Waterloo Place.
The cause of the explosion has yet to be established. It is understood it happened near the City of Culture office, which is at Waterloo Place.
