Una famiglia di Coalisland, contro la cui casa venne lanciata una pipe-bomb lo scorso giovedì, viene invitata a lasciare l’area entro 48 ore da un gruppo repubblicano
La Real IRA ha rilasciato una dichiarazione dove indicano la loro responsabilità nell’attacco, e ha anche fatto conoscere l’ultima minaccia.
La McDonagh ha detto a Utv di non sapere il motivo per cui la famiglia è divenuta un bersaglio: “Ho vissuto qui per 13 anni, e non ho mai avuto problemi”, ha affermato.
“Non ho mai infastidito nessuno, e nessuno ci ha infastidito. La gente qui è molto carina.
“Voglio restare nella mia casa, perché non ho fatto nulla a nessuno. Non sappiamo come questo sia accaduto.
“La mia famiglia ed io siamo terrorizzati”.
Il parlamentare shinner Francie Molloy ha condannato i responsabili della minaccia.
“La gente è preoccupata che questa minaccia sia stata fatta contro chiunque, e i residenti sono anche preoccupati che questo possa portare alla possibilità di un attacco contro qualsiasi abitazione della zona”, ha affermato Molloy.
“(I repubblicani) devono immediatamente e pubblicamente ritirare la minaccia, e devono inoltre rimuovere l’ulteriore minaccia per le famiglie che un simile ordigno possa essere gettato a casa di chiunque nella zona.
“Questi ordigni non dovrebbero mai essere utilizzati, e chiediamo che vengano rimosse dalla nostra società”.

Coalisland family receive dissident threat
A Co Tyrone family whose Coalisland home was pipe-bombed last Thursday have been ordered by a dissident republican group to leave the area within 48 hours.
The Real IRA have issued a statement saying they were responsible for the attack, and have also issued the latest threat.
Mrs McDonagh told UTV she doesn’t know why her family have been targeted: “I have been living here for 13 years, and I never bother with anybody”, she said.
“We never bother with anybody, and nobody bothers with us. The people here are very nice.
“I want to stay in my home, because we didn’t do anything to anybody. We don’t know how this happened.
“My family and I are frightened.”
Sinn Fein MLA Francie Molloy condemned those behind the threat.
“People are concerned that this threat has been made against anyone, and local residents are also concerned that this is actually bringing the possibility of an attack onto any house in that area”, Mr Molloy said.
“They should immediately, publicly withdraw the threat, and they should also remove any further threat to the families of a similar device being thrown at anyone’s house in the area.
“These types of devices should not be used at all, and we are asking that these devices be removed from society”.
