Filmati utilizzati dalla PSNI per identificare i rivoltosi a Derry

La polizia di Derry sta utilizzando i filmati delle telecamere a circuito chiuso per identificare le persone coinvolte nei disordini del 12, 13 e 14 luglio

Quando accaddero, la polizia parlò dei disordini nel Bogside come dei “peggiori del decennio”.

Il 12 luglio bottiglie molotov e altri oggetti furono lanciati in Fahan Street. Un veicolo rimase gravemente danneggiato.

Un partecipante ai disordini fu identificato come un uomo di circa 1 metro e 80, vestito con una tuta nera ed un passamontagna nero.

Durante la notte ci sono stati tentativi di erigere barricare vicino al cavalcavia di Lecky.

Il 14 luglio altre molotov furono lanciate contro un veicolo della PSNI di pattuglia vicino a Westland Street.

Ci sono state denunce per il lancio di pietre durante il giorno nell’interfaccia tra Irish Street e Gobnascale.

CCTV used to identity offenders in Derry

Police in Londonderry are using CCTV footage to try and identify those involved in disturbances in the city on 12, 13, and 14 July.

At the time, police said riots in the Bogside were among “the worst in a decade”.

On 12 July, petrol bombs and missiles were thrown in Fahan Street. A vehicle was extensively damaged.

The offender was identified as a 6ft man, wearing a black track suit and black balaclava.

Later that night attempts were made to erect barricades at the bottom of the Lecky flyover.

On 14 July, petrol bombs were thrown at the police vehicle on patrol near Westland Street.

There were also reports of stone-throwing throughout the day at the Irish Street and Gobnascale interface.
