Frazer fiducioso per accordo con la Libia

IRA victims ‘confident Libyan deal will be done’

Victims of IRA terrorism say they hope to travel to Libya within weeks to finalise a compensation deal with Colonel Gaddafi.

Willie Frazer, whose father and two uncles were killed in IRA bomb attacks, is among 176 people from across the UK suing the Libyan leader for supplying Semtex to republican terrorists during the 1980s and 1990s, said he was “confident” a compensation deal was imminent and hoped to be invited to Tripoli within “three or four” weeks.

“All the vibes that we are getting out of Libya are positive. You are never sure of anything but we are confident that something will be sorted,” he told the Belfast Telegraph.

A UK parliamentary delegation is due to fly to the Libyan capital to discuss the issue tomorrow.
