Gas lacrimogeno sparato dalla PSNI a Ballycastle

Gli agenti di polizia hanno usato il gas CS per controllare i disordini avvenuti nelle prime ore di domenica a Ballycastle

C’erano segnalazioni di disordini che coinvolgevano 12 persone nella zona del Diamond, intorno alle 2 del mattino.

Quando gli agenti della PSNI sono giunti sul posto sono scoppiate piccole schermaglie. Il gas lacrimogeno è stato utilizzato per calmare gli scontri.

Due uomini, di 21 e 24 anni, sono stati trasportati in ospedale per controlli. Due poliziotti hanno subito lievi ferite. Non ci sono stati arresti.

La polizia chiede a chiunque possieda informazioni di mettersi in contatto.

Police use CS spray to control trouble in Ballycastle

Police officers have used CS spray gas to control trouble in the early hours of Sunday in Ballycastle.

There were reports of trouble involving up to 12 people in the Diamond area of the town at about 0200 BST.

When officers attended the disturbance several smaller skirmishes broke out. CS spray was used to quell the rioting.

Two men, aged 21 and 24, were taken to hospital for treatment. Two police officers also sustained minor injuries. There have been no arrests.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information to contact them.
