Gerry Kelly coinvolto in incidente dopo rapina

Un’autovettura usata in una rapina a South Belfast ha provocato un incidente con un’auto della polizia e altre 4 macchine

L’incidente è avvenuto lunedì alla rotonda di Stockman’s Lane, dopo la rapina compiuta da due uomini ai danni di un negozio su Lisburn Road.

Gerry Kelly, Sinn Fein, era al volante della sua auto quando è stato colpito da una Subaru Impreza verde. Ha riportato lievi ferite.

La polizia ha arrestato tre uomini e recuperato una somma di denaro.

In un messaggio su Twitter, scritto dopo l’incidente, Kelly ha scritto: “Che giornata. Uscendo dai conteggi sono stato colpito duro da una macchina in fuga dopo una rapina. Fortunatamente sto bene”.

Kelly caught up in robbery crash

A car believed to have been used in a robbery in south Belfast has collided with a police vehicle and four other cars.

The incident occurred at Stockman’s Lane Roundabout on Monday after two men robbed a shop on the Lisburn Road.

Sinn Fein’s Gerry Kelly, who was driving by at the time, was slightly injured when his vehicle was struck by a green Subarau Impreza.

Police arrested three men and recovered a sum of money.

In a Twitter message after the incident Mr Kelly wrote: “What a day. Coming away from count and got hit hard by a getaway car after robbery. Thankfully on my own.”
