Un ragazzo di 15 anni apparirà in tribunale per rispondere di accuse collegate alle intimidazioni razziste a South Belfast
Oltre 100 famiglie rumene sono state costrette a lasciare le proprie abitazioni in seguito a continui attacchi avvenuti nell’area.
Molti di loro si sono rifugiati in una chiesa vicino fino a quando sono stati messi in grado di fare ritorno a casa.
Tra di loro anche bambini piccoli e madri che sono sfuggite ad abusi a sfondo razziale.
Un raduno tenuto nella comunità di Lisburn Road prima dell’aumento delle violenze del mese scorso è stato attaccato da giovani della zona.
Il ragazzo comparirà presso la Belfast Magistrates’ Court ed è anche accusato di coinvolgimento in questo incidente.

Teen Faces Race Attack Charges
A 15-year-old boy will appear in court later charged in connection with racist intimidation in south Belfast.
Over 100 Romanian families were forced to flee their homes following sustained attacks in the area.
Many sought refuge in a nearby church until arrangements were made for them to return home.
Among them were young children and mothers who escaped racially motivated abuse.
A rally held in the Lisburn Road community prior to the escalation in violence last month came under attack by local youths.
The boy appearing in Belfast Magistrates’ Court today (pictured) is also accused of involvement in this incident.
