Giovani feriti in due separati episodi a Derry e Belfast

Due uomini sono stati trasportati in ospedale in seguito a due separati ferimenti con arma da fuoco, avvenuti a Derry e a Belfast

A Derry hanno sparato ad entrambe le gambe di un giovane di 23 anni, nella zona di Iniscarn Crescent nel quartiere di Creggan.

Cinque uomini, con i volti coperti da sciarpe, sono entrati nella sua abitazione intorno alle 20 di martedì.

A West Belfast un gruppo di uomini sono entrati nella casa di un giovane di 24 anni, abitante nella zona di Rossnareen Road, poco dopo le 21. Anche a lui hanno sparato alle gambe.

La polizia, nel chiedere aiuto per le indagini, afferma che le ferite dei due giovani non mettono a repentaglio la loro vita.

Men injured in separate shootings

Two men have been taken to hospital following separate shooting incidents in Londonderry and Belfast.

In Londonderry, a 23-year-old man was shot in both legs in the Iniscarn Crescent area in Creggan.

Five men, their faces masked with scarves, entered his house at about 2000 GMT on Tuesday.

In west Belfast, a masked gang broke into the home of a 24-year-old man in the Rossnareen Road area shortly after 2100 GMT. He too was shot in the legs.

Police said the injuries to both men were not thought to be life-threatening.
