Greater Ardoyne Residents Collective risponde ai colloqui di Ardoyne

Indipendentemente da quanti colloqui ci saranno ora ed in futuro tra C.A.R.A. (Crumlin Ardoyne Residents Association) e il North and West Belfast Parades Forum, sono privi di significato senza il consenso e l’approvazione della maggioranza dei residentidi Ardoyne. Perché C.A.R.A. non rappresenta la maggioranza dei residenti di questa comunità.

Un’importante sondaggio era stato condotto dal Greater Ardoyne Residents Collective (GARC) alla fine del 2009, in cui la maggior parte dei residenti della zona dichiaravano chiaramente che le parate degli Ordini Lealisti non erano le benvenute nella nostra comunità. I risultati dell’indagine sono stati ignorati da C.A.R.A., dal North and West Belfast Parades Forum e da alcuni partiti politici, allineati ai proprio ordini del giorno politici.

Senza tener conto del nostro sondaggio e senza dar credito alle preoccupazioni di TUTTI i residenti nella comunità di Greater Ardoyne, C.A.R.A. non ha il diritto di raggiungere accordi con chi insiste a voler marciare dove non è il benvenuto!

Come parte delle gravi preoccupazioni, GARC continuerà a opporsi pacificamente alle sgradite marce settarie attraverso Ardoyne.

GARC Respond To CARA and North/West Belfast Parades Forum Talks

Regardless of how many meetings C.A.R.A. and the North/West Belfast Parades Forum have now and in the future. They are meaningless without the consent and approval of the greater number of Ardoyne residents. As C.A.R.A. do not represent the majority of residents in this community.

A substantive survey was conducted by the Greater Ardoyne Residents Collective (GARC) towards the end of 2009, in which the majority of local residents clearly stated that Loyal Order Parades were not welcome through our community. The findings of this survey has been ignored by C.A.R.A., the North/West Parades Forum and a number of political Parties because of political agendas.

Without taking our survey into account and addressing the concerns of ALL residents in the Greater Ardoyne community. C.A.R.A. do not have the right to reach an accomadation with those who insist on marching where they are not welcome!

As part of those serious concerns, GARC will continue to peacefully oppose unwelcome sectarian marches through Ardoyne.
