Un attivista della lingua gaelica ha colpito tre siti Internet del DUP, traducendo temporaneamente le varie home page
“Is mise Peadar Robinson agus tugaim tacaiocht don Acht na Gaelige” si legge a fianco alla foto del primo ministro. La traduzione recita: “Io sono Peter Robinson e sostengo l’Irish Language Act” (la legge per il sostegno alla lingua irlandese).
La legge sul gaelico è stata fonte di forti frizioni a Stormont, con il DUP che ripetutamente ha fatto cadere nel vuoto gli appelli dello Sinn Fein per la sua introduzione.
L’hacker, che si fa chiamare Hector O’Hackatdawn, è anche entrato sui siti peterrobinson.org e jeffreydonaldson.org.
Sull’account Twitter, il DUP ha scritto che il sito era “temporaneamente colpito da attività malevola”.
Nel messaggio si riportava anche che la polizia sta affrontando il problema.

Hacker translates DUP websites into Irish
A language activist has hacked into three DUP websites, temporarily translating their homepages into Irish.
“Is mise Peadar Robinson agus tugaim tacaiocht don Acht na Gaelige” is translated as “I am Peter Robinson and I support an Irish Language Act”.
Irish language legislation has been a source of friction at Stormont with the DUP repeatedly frustrating Sinn Fein appeals for its introduction.
The hacker, who calls himself Hector O’Hackatdawn, also broke into peterrobinson.org and jeffreydonaldson.org.
On its Twitter feed, the DUP said its website had been “temporarily affected by malicious activity”.
It added that the police were now dealing with the issue.
