Il 32 County Sovereignty Movement aveva degli iscritti, di Ardoyne, presenti alla protesta per osservare le reazioni esagerate della polizia britannica in irlanda. I commenti di Kelly sono deliberatamente espressi per fuorviare l’intera comunità, facendo credere che la dimostrazione di resistenza della popolazione di Ardoyne era stata cinicamente manipolata da gente venuta da fuori quartiere e perciò non rappresentasse i sentimenti degli abitanti di Ardoyne.
Il 32CSM rifiuta questo commento e si complimenta pienamente con la gente di Ardoyne, e delle vicine aree nazionaliste, per i loro sforzi di respingere la RUC/PSNI dall’imposizione di una marcia di odio settario in una zona dove non è chiaramente voluta.
Comunque noi siamo d’accordo con il ministro Kelly su un punto, era gente esterna al quartiere quella che ha causato questa situazione, infatti non riteniamo che molti degli orangisti o del personale della RUC/PSNI provengano da Ardoyne.
32CSM refute Kelly’s claims
The 32 County Sovereignty Movement did have members, from Ardoyne, at the protest to observe the overreactions of the British police in Ireland. Kelly’s comments are deliberately phrased to mislead the wider community into believing that the show of resistance by the people of Ardoyne was cynically manipulated by people from outside the area and thus misrepresented the feelings of the people from Ardoyne.
The 32CSM reject this and we fully commend the people of Ardoyne, and neighbouring nationalist areas in their efforts to repel the RUC/PSNI from imposing a sectarian hate march in an area where it is clearly not wanted.
We do however agree with Minister Kelly on one point, it was people from outside the area who caused this situation, we do not imagine many of the Orangemen or RUC/PSNI personnel were from Ardoyne.
