L’incendio scoppiato martedì sera a North Belfast, che ha causato seri danni ad una Orange Hall, viene trattato come un crimine settario
La Hall veniva poco usata in segito al precedente attacco avvenuto cinque anni fa.
La gran parte dell’edificio era coperta da assi e l’Orange Order sta lavorando di concerto con la polizia per stabilire l’entità dell’incendio scoppiato nella notte.
Un portavoce dell’Orange Order afferma: “Ciò è chiaramente un altro attacco contro la cultura orangista.
“Potrebbe benissimo essere un tentativo di creare tensioni comunitarie e chiediamo a chiunque abbia informazioni sull’attacco di comunicarle alla polizia cosicché possano prendere i delinquenti”.

Police treat Orange Hall fire as arson
A fire in north Belfast on Tuesday night which caused extensive damage to an Orange Hall is being treated as a sectarian hate crime.
The hall has been largely unused since a previous attack five years ago.
Most of the building was boarded up and the Orange Order are working with the police to establish the extent of the damage caused during the overnight night.
A spokesman for the Orange Order said: “What is clear, is that this is another attack on the Orange culture.
“It may well be an attempt to create community tension and we would urge anyone with information about the attack to contact the police so they can catch the culprits.”
