Indossa t-shirt “pro-Irlanda”: UDA attacca la sua casa

Una donna protestante ha affermato che l’UDA vuole cacciare la sua famiglia dalla loro abitazione di Coleraine dopo che uno dei suoi tre figli è stato visto con indosso una maglietta irlandese.

Infatti il figlio diciottenne è stato notato con una maglietta con lo slogan “Io sostengo l’Irlanda” – a favore delle squadre nazionali sportive.

La donna si trovava in casa insieme alle sue due figlie, nella zona lealista di Millburn, quando una bottiglia molotov è stata lanciata attraverso la loro finestra. L’ordigno non è riuscito ad incendiarsi.

Per John Dallat, parlamentare dello SDLP, i paramilitari lealisti dell’UDA tengono ancora in scacco la zona e “c’è uno sconvolgente elenco di abusi verso chiunque sia in disaccordo con loro”.

UDA ‘forced family from home over Ireland T-shirt’

A Protestant mother of three has claimed the UDA forced her family from her Coleraine home after one of her children was seen wearing an Ireland T-shirt.

The woman said her house was petrol-bombed because her 18-year-old son was spotted wearing a T-shirt bearing the slogan ‘I support Ireland’ – in support of the country’s sports teams.

The woman was in her home with two young daughters in their home in the loyalist Millburn area, when a device was thrown through her window, which failed to ignite.

John Dallat, MLA, said the UDA still had a grip on the area and the outlawed group “have an appalling history of abuse towards anyone who disagrees with them”.
