IRPWA accoglie positivamente accordo di Maghaberry

L’IRPWA accoglie positivamente le notizie che la protesta nella prigione di Maghaberry è stata risolta con la soddisfazione dei Pows repubblicani.

Ringraziamo tutte le persone coinvolte nel facilitare questa risoluzione e porgiamo un particolare tributo ai prigionieri, alle loro famiglie e a tutti quelli che li hanno sostenuti nel corso della protesta.

Anche se siamo consapevoli che le precedenti risoluzioni arrivate dai Pows e dalle autorita non sono sempre state mantenute a causa della cattiva fede dei britannici, siamo fiduciosi che con la buona volontà di tutte le parti questo accordo possa essere fatto funzionare.

IRPWA: Maghaberry resolution welcomed

The IRPWA welcome the news that the protest in Maghaberry prison has been resolved to the satisfaction of the Republican POW’s.

We thank all those involved in facilitating this resolution and we pay particular tribute to the prisoners, their families and all those who supported them over the course of the protest.

While we are conscious that previous resolutions arrived at by the POW’s and the authorities have not always lasted due to bad faith on behalf of the British we are confident that with good will on all side this agreement can be made to work.
