La faida tra “MR Big” e IRA non è finita

La faida tra quello che resta della banda collegata alla Real IRA e al suo leader Alan Ryan – assassinato nel 2012 a Dublino – e il boss della droga chiamato Mr Big” è ancora viva e attiva

Le fonti hanno rivelato che negli ultimi giorno la polizia irlandese sta monitorando i membri di entrambe le fazioni, che stanno eseguendo operazioni di sorveglianza alle varie abitazioni.

Secondo le fonti ben addentro alla faida, la situazione è così grave che una banda della Real IRA ha già pronta un’autovettura da utilizzare in un attacco contro il boss della droga residente a Coolock.

Nonostante tali attività, la Gardai ad aprile è riuscita a sventare un tentato omicidio contro uno dei fratelli di Alan Ryan.

“Mr Big” era pronto ad eseguire l’attacco quando la polizia irlandese ha cercato di fermarlo nella sua vettura.

Il boss della droga era nell’auto insieme ad un altro criminale, quando sono stati visti nella stessa zona in cui era presente Vincent, il più giovane dei fratelli di Alan Ryan.

Gli agenti della Gardai hanno riconosciuto “Mr Big” e hanno tentato di bloccarlo, ma ha accelerato ed è riuscito ad allontanarsi.

La polizia sospetta che nella vettura ci fosse un’arma da fuoco e che con quella avrebbero potuto cercare di assassinare Vincent Ryan.

Accuse

Vincent Ryan, sollevato da tutte le accuse legate all’omicidio del boss della droga Michael “Micka” Kelly, ha sempre respinto le voci che lo indicano come fuggitivo rispetto alla banda che ha assassinato suo fratello.

Poche settimane prima dell’incidente di “Mr Big” al fratello di Vincent, Dermot, membro del 32 County Sovereignty Movement, è stato detto che membri della banda che ha ucciso suo fratello nel 2012 si erano messi sulle sue tracce.

The feud between what is left of the crew linked to slain Real IRA figure Alan Ryan (left) and the drugs boss nicknamed ‘Mr Big’ remains very much alive and active.

Sources have revealed that in recent days gardai have been monitoring members of both factions, who were carrying out surveillance on each other’s homes.

According to well-placed sources the situation is so serious that an IRA gang have a car ready to be used in an attack on the Coolock based gangster at a moment’s notice.

Despite such ongoing activity, gardai foiled an attempt on the life one of Alan Ryan’s brothers in April.

‘Mr Big’ was believed to have been on his way to carry out the hit when gardai attempted to stop him in a car.

He was in the vehicle with another criminal when the pair were spotted in the same area as Alan’s younger brother Vincent Ryan (right).

Gardai recognised Mr Big and went to pull him over. However, he sped off and managed to get away.

Gardai suspect there was a weapon in the car and he may have been on the way to carry out a hit attempt on Ryan.

CHARGES

Vincent Ryan, who was cleared of charges relating to the murder of drugs boss Michael ‘Micka’ Kelly, has always refuted reports that he is on the run from the gang who murdered his older brother.

Just weeks before the ‘Mr Big’ incident, Vincent’s brother Dermot, a member of the 32 County Sovereignty Movement, was told associates of the drugs gang who ordered his brother’s killing in 2012 had been tracking his movements.
