La polizia interviene per disordini settari a North Belfast

La polizia è stata chiamata a North Belfast nelle prime ore di sabato per gestire la violenza settaria

La PSNI afferma che fino a 30 giovani sono coinvolti nei disordini, avvenuti tra Oldpark Road, Manor Park e Rosapenna Street.

Automobili ed abitazioni sono state attaccate con pietre durante i disordini, durati dalle 2 alle 3:30 del mattino.

Secondo la polizia sono coinvolti sia lealisti che nazionalisti.

La polizia ha lavorato con i rappresentanti della comunità per riportare la calma nella zona.

Non c’è stato alcun arresto e nessuno è rimasto ferito.

Sectarian rioting in north Belfast

Riot police were called in to north Belfast during the early hours of Saturday to deal with sectarian violence.

The PSNI said up to 30 youths were involved in the trouble, which happened on the Oldpark Road, Manor Park and Rosapenna Street.

Houses and cars were attacked with stones during the disturbances, which lasted from around 2am to 3.30am.

Officers said loyalist and nationalist crowds were involved.

Police worked with community representatives to bring calm to the area.

There are no reports of any injuries and no arrests have been made.

On July 11, police were attacked by crowds on the Oldpark Road on the eve of the main day of the marching season.
