La polizia ha rilasciato le fotografie di 14 persone che intendono interrogare in relazione con i gravi disordini scoppiati nella zona di Ardoyne il 12 luglio
Venerdì la PSNI ha rivelato che 42 persone sono state arrestate per i disordini scoppiati in tutta Belfast, che causarono il ferimento di molti poliziotti.
L’Ispettore Capo Alan Little ha riferito che l’indagine coinvolge 20 funzionari di polizia.
“Chiedo alla popolazione di aiutarci ad identificare i 14 individui cui vorremmo parlare in collegamento con la nostra immagine sui disordini che hanno sconvolto la comunità di Ardoyne e messo sia i residenti che i poliziotti a rischio di gravi ferite o peggio.
“E’ nell’interesse di tutti – e pure nell’interesse della giustizia – che i responsabili siano accusati e portati in tribunale”, ha affermato.
Giovedì un trentaquattrenne è stato arresto per i disordini di Ardoyne ma è stato rilasciato incondizionatamente.
Una donna di 37 anni era stata accusata per i disordii del 12 luglio nella zona di Ormeau Road.
Accusata di comportamento dissoluto e dovrà apparire in tribunale il prossimo 26 agosto.

More pictures released of Ardoyne rioters
Police have released photographs of 14 people they would like to speak to in connection with the serious rioting that erupted in the Ardoyne area of Belfast over the Twelfth period.
On Friday, the PSNI revealed that 42 people have been arrested over the rioting across Belfast, which left several police officers injured.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Little says 20 officers are involved in the inquiry.
“I am asking the public to help us identify 14 individuals whom we’d like to talk to in connection with our investigation into the disorder that wreaked havoc on the local community in Ardoyne and put both local residents and police officers at risk of serious injury or even worse.
“It is in everybody’s interest – as well as in the interest of justice – that those responsible are charged and brought before the courts,” he said.
On Thursday, a 34 year-old man was arrested in connection with the Ardoyne rioting but was released unconditionally.
A 37 year-old woman was charged in connection with rioting which broke out in the Ormeau Road area on 12 July.
She is accused of riotous behaviour and is due to appear in court on 26 August.
