Linea ferroviaria riapre dopo allarme

La linea ferroviaria a Lurgan è stata riaperta dopo un allarme sicurezza

L’allarme è iniziato la mattina di sabato, dopo il ritrovamento di un oggetto sospetto nella zona.

Autobus sostitutivi sono stati fatti circolare tra Lisburn e Portadown e tra Belfast e Newry.

La polizia ha prelevato l’oggetto per ulteriori esami, mentre ad un primo controllo sembrerebbe un’imitazione.

Railway line reopens after alert

The railway line at Lurgan has reopened following a security alert.

The alert began earlier on Saturday following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area.

Bus substitutions were put in place for local train services between Lisburn and Portadown and on the Enterprise Service between Belfast and Newry

The police said the object has now been examined and was declared a hoax.
