Quasi quattromila persone delle contee di Londonderry e Donegal sono registrati su un sito web che sostiene apertamente pratiche di vita esotiche in alcuni dei più popolari spazi pubblici all’aperto del Nord Ovest.
Il mese scorso l’assessore DUP Maurice Devenney ha chiesto di intervenire per fermare le persone che svolgono atti sessuali osceni a Prehen e Ness Wood. Ha riferito al Sentinel di un’escalation del comportamento indecente noto come “dogging” (pratica in cui una donna si concede in spazi aperti a più uomini sconosciuti, che “vanno a portare fuori il cane”, Ndt).
L’assessore è stato contattato da persone in evidente stato di diffocltà che si erano imbattute casualmente in persone impegnate in tali attività sessuali. Il Sentinel può rivelare che 3.729 persone nelle contee di Londonderry e Donegal si sono registrate a Swing4Ireland, che afferma di essere “il sito numero 1 in Irlanda per lo scambio di coppie”. Secondo il sito web lo swinging è il fenomeno delle coppie e dei singoli che “cercano di incontrare persone interessanti desiderose di vivere lo stesso stile di vita”.
A Derry questo viene manifestato apertamente dalle persone in luoghi pubblici come Ervey Woods e Prehen Palying Fields così come da aree in prossimità di una serie di ben noti locali pubblici come luoghi di incontro per il dogging.
Un individuo, che si presenta come un single 39enne e si descrive come “discreto e di bell’aspetto” alla ricerca di “divertimento senza costrizioni”, raccomanda Ervey Woods come luogo per il “dogging” e il “divertimento di giorno e di sera”.
Un altro uomo di 38 anni raccomanda i campi da gioc di Prehen per il “dogging”.
Consiglia a chi cerca divertimento di lampeggiare 10 volte le luci dell’auto ogni venerdì sera a Prehen. Dice di sentirsi avventuroso ed interessato solo alle donne.
Un trentasettenne di nome Gerry afferma: “Siamo solo una coppia di bell’aspetto un po’ annoiata di fare sesso tra di noi, così abbiamo iniziato a sperimentare lo scambio di coppie ad Amsterdam”. Altri luoghi consigliati nei pressi del confine includono aree a Moville, Newtowncunningham e Letterkenny.
C’è un club mensile di scambio coppie gestito in appartamenti privati in Donagal, che si fa pubblicità sul sito. Secondo le persone dietro a “Unique Swinger Club” un gruppo si incontra una volta al mese in un luogo segreto per “fare scambio”.
“Vestiti opzionali, bevande e cibo a disposizione… la data del ritrovo mensile viene inviata a tutti i membri tramite e-mail. Per entrare, inviate una foto via e-mail”, spiegano gli organizzatori.
In tutta l’isola, Derry si trova al quattordicesimo posto con 1.670 iscritti, sopravanzata da Donegal al dodicesimo posto con 2.059 membri. Tyrone ha il minor numero di iscritti con 913. Il sito è stato registrato tramite Enom Inc dal Gruppo Symbios. Symbios ha uffici a Segensworth, nello Hampshire, e dal 2006 “è diventato un giocatore di primo piano per l’acquisizione e lo sviluppo di comunità e siti di incontri. Tra questi si trovano marchi come Faces.com, Profileheaven e Face-Pic, siti per stili di vita alternativi”.
34 ‘dogging’ locations listed across County Londonderry
ALMOST four thousand people across Londonderry and Donegal are registered members of a website openly advocating exotic lifestyle practices in some of the North West’s most popular outdoor public spaces.
Last month DUP Alderman Maurice Devenney called for action to stop people carrying out lewd sexual acts in Prehen and Ness Wood. He told the Sentinel there had been an escalation in indecent behaviour, commonly known as ‘dogging.’
He was contacted by people in a distressed state who had accidentally stumbled upon people engaged in such exotic activities. Now the Sentinel can reveal that 3,729 people in Counties Londonderry and Donegal have signed up to Swing4Ireland, which claims to be ‘Ireland’s number 1 swinging site!’ ‘Swinging’ according to the website is the phenomenon of couples and single people “attempting to meet exciting sensuous people who are interested in the same of similar lifestyle activities.”
In Londonderry this is manifest by people openly advertising places such as Ervey Woods and Prehen Playing Fields as well as areas in the vicinity of a number of well-known public bars as meeting places for ‘dogging.’
One individual purporting to be a 39-year-old single man and describing himself as a “discreet, good-looking professional” looking for “no strings attached fun” recommends Ervey Woods as a site for ‘dogging’ and “daytime and evening fun.”
Another, claiming to be a 38-year-old single man describes himself as “sex mad Ryan” and recommends Prehen Playing Fields for ‘dogging.’
He advises anyone looking for fun to flash their lights ten times at 10pm each Friday night at Prehen. He says he’s feeling adventurous and is interested in women only.
A 37-year-old man called Gerry says: “We’re just a good looking couple who got a bit bored with having the usual sex with each other, so we started experimenting with swinging in Amsterdam.” Other sites across the border include areas in Moville, Newtowncunningham and Letterkenny.
There’s a monthly swinging club run out of private flats in Donegal, advertised on the website. According to the people behind the ‘Unique Swinger Club’ a group meets once a month at an undisclosed venue to ‘swing.’
“Clothing optional, drinks and food available…each month’s date sent out to all members via email. To join email with pic,” the organisers explain.
Across the island Londonderry was in 14th place in terms of membership with 1,670 members. This was surpassed by Donegal, which was in 12th place with 2,059 members. In Tyrone membership was much lower at 913 members. The site has been registered via Enom Inc with the registrant listed as the Symbios Group. Symbios has offices in Segensworth, in Hampshire, and claims that by 2006 it “had become a leading player in the acquisition and development of community and dating sites. These included brands such as Faces.com, Profileheaven, and Face-pic and…alternative lifestyle sites.”
