House attacked with ‘petrol bomb’
A number of people have escaped injury in an overnight petrol bomb attack on a house in east Belfast.
The window of the house in Haig Street was broken before the petrol bomb was thrown at the property at about 0040 GMT on Saturday.
The device did not ignite and no-one was injured in the incident.
Police have removed a number of items from the scene for further examination and have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them.
