C’è stato un ulteriore attacco contro l’ufficio di Alliance Party a East Belfast
La polizia ha detto che l’ufficio in Upper Newtownards Road è stato attaccato con una molotov e una bomba di vernice nelle prime ore di giovedì mattina.
Sono stati provocati danne alle serrande dell’ufficio.
Un portavoce della polizia ha affermato: “Poco prima delle 4 una pattuglia di polizia presente nella zona ha notato imbrattamento di vernice alle serrande anteriori dell’ufficio.
“Dopo ulteriori esami è stato scoperto che era stata lanciata una bomba di vernice contro la proprietà-
“I resti di una molotov incendiata sono stati scoperti davanti all’ufficio”.
L’attacco, in cui ha sede l’ufficio elettorale di Naomi Long, segue quello portato da quattro uomini non identificati, che hanno lanciato sette molotov contro l’edificio martedì sera.
La polizia non si è sbilanciata nell’individuare i responsabili dell’attacco, ma il vice primo ministro dello Sinn Féin Martin McGuinness, durante una visita all’ufficio di Alliance Party avvenuta mercoledì, ha puntato il dito contro l’UVF.
La polizia chiede aiuto ad eventuali testimoni.

Further attack on Alliance office
There has been a further petrol bomb attack on the Alliance party office in east Belfast.
Police said the office on the Upper Newtownards Roads was attacked with a petrol bomb and paint bomb in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Damage was caused to the shutters of the office.
A police spokesman said: “Shortly before 4am police on patrol in the area noticed paint damage to the shutters at the front of the premises.
“Upon further examination it was discovered that a paint bomb had been thrown at the property.
“The remains of a burnt out petrol bomb was also discovered at the front of the premises.”
The attack follows after the building, which is the office of MP Naomi Long, was attacked by four men with seven petrol bombs on Tuesday.
Police would not be drawn on who was to blame, but Sinn Féin deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness, during a visit to the office on Wednesday, blamed the attack on UVF.
Police are appealing for information.
