Molotov e vernice contro PSNI a West Belfast

La polizia è finita sotto attacco durante disordini scoppiati a West Belfast

Gli scontri sono iniziati con due bande rivali, che si sono fronteggiate in Ballygomartin Road intorno alle 17,30, impegnate in una sassaiola.

Nessun agente di polizia è rimasto ferito, ma due veicoli della PSNI sono stati danneggiati.

I responsabili comunitari hanno aiutato a tenere la situazione sotto controllo. Due adolescenti, di 19 e 16 anni, sono stati arrestati.

Nei disordini sarebbero stati coinvolti tra20 e 30 giovani.

Una barricata era stata eretta durante gli scontri. La polizia ha provveduto a smantellarla.

Petrol bombs and paint thrown at police in west Belfast

Police have come under attack with petrol bombs and paint during a disturbance in west Belfast.

The trouble started with rival gangs throwing stones in the Balllygomartin Road area at 1730 BST.

No PSNI officers were injured but damaged was caused to two police vehicles.

Community leaders helped bring the situation under control. Two teenagers, aged, 19 and 16, have been arrested.

It is understood between 20 and 30 youths were involved in the trouble.

A barricade which was erected during the disturbance was dismantled by police.
