Non dice la sua religione, uomo aggredito a East Belfast

Un ventiseienne è stato aggredito da un gruppo di giovani perché non ha voluto rivelare a quale religione appartenesse.

L’aggressione ha avuto luogo sabato 4 aprile intorno alle 22:15, nella zona di Albertbridge Road a East Belfast.

Dopo aver attraversato il ponte all’incrocio con Ravenhill Road, quattro giovani gli hanno chiesto di quale religione fosse, ma al suo rifiuto lo hanno aggredito provocandogli ferite al volto e alle braccia.

Gli assalitori si sono quindi allontanati dalla scena.

I giovani avrebbero circa 15 anni e avevano tutti capelli corti o rasati a zero. Uno di loro indossava una maglia blu con la scritta Firetrap.

Man assaulted in Belfast after he refused to tell gang his religion


A man has been assaulted by a group of youths after he refused to tell them his religion.

At around 10.15pm on Saturday April 4 the 26-year-old was attacked on the Albertbridge Road area in east Belfast.

As he crossed the bridge near the junction of the Ravenhill Road four male youths asked him to disclose his religion, but when he refused, they assaulted him causing injuries to his face and arm.

They are then believed to have made off citywards.

The youths are described as approximately 15-years-old and all with short/shaven heads. One was wearing a two-toned navy blue top marked with the Firetrap brand.

Constable Mark said: “If anyone has any information on this please contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or alternatively anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
