Nuovo attacco contro Orange Hall a Bellaghy
Fresh attack on Bellaghy Orange Hall
An Orange Hall in Co Londonderry has been targeted in a sectarian attack for the second time in a week.
The letters IRA were daubed on the walls of the building in Bellaghy sometime between 11pm on Friday and 10.30am on Saturday.
Police investigating the criminal damage are appealing for information from the public.
Last week, in the early hours of Friday, green and yellow paint was thrown over the yard and front walls of the hall in the William Street area of the village.
UUP Mid-Ulster MLA Sandra Overend told UTV that she is disgusted.
“For people to see that day and daily, it creates bad feeling.
“I hope that it doesn’t result in tensions being raised in Bellaghy. We don’t need that,” she said.
