Il veicolo è stato fermato dalla PSNI intorno alle 20, mentre stava percorrendo Northland Road.
Gli artificieri dell’esercito britannico sono stati chiamati sulla scena.
La strada è stata chiusa al traffico e sono state create deviazioni a Seagate Road e a Springtown Road.

Two men have been arrested in Derry after police stopped a car, discovering a suspect object.
The vehicle was stopped by police at Northland Road shortly after 8pm.
Army bomb experts have been tasked to the scene.
The road has been closed and diversions are in place at Seagate and Springtown Road.
