David Black, 52 anni, fu ucciso il 1° novembre 2012 sull’autostrada M1 vicino a Lurgan, mentre si recava al lavoro presso la prigione di Maghaberry.
Una dichiarazione della Gardaí afferma: “I due uomini, di 51 e 34 anni, sono stati fermati in base alla Sezione 30 della Legge sui Reati contro lo Stato del 1939 e vengono trattenuti nella stazioni di polizia nella zona di Cavan. I due uomini possono essere detenuti fino ad un massimo di 72 ore”.

‘Dissident’ arrests over Black murder
Two men have been arrested in the Republic of Ireland by police investigating the murder of prison officer David Black.
The suspects, aged 51 and 34, were detained on Monday during searches in counties Cavan and Lietrim, linked to dissident republican activity.
Mr Black, a 52-year-old father of two, was shot dead on the M1 motorway near Lurgan in Co Armagh as he drove to work at Maghaberry Prison on 1 November, 2012.
A statement from Gardaí said: “The two men, one aged 51 and one aged 34, have been arrested under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 and are being detained at Garda stations in the Cavan area. The men can be detained for up to 72 hours.”
