Omicidio Kerr: raid a Monaghan

Una casa nella Contea di Monaghan è stata perquisita e gli investigatori hanno portato via alcuni oggetti

L’agente PSNI Ronan Kerr, 25 anni, è morto in seguito all’esplosione di una bomba posizionata sotto alla sua vettura davanti alla sua casa di Omagh.

Come parte delle indagini, martedì mattina la Garda ha perquisito una casa a Scotstown, nella Contea di Monaghan.

Nessun arresto è stato eseguito ma sono stati portati via numerosi oggetti su cui effettuerà test forensi. Nessuno degli oggetti sarebbe un proiettile.

La polizia, intanto, continua ad interrogare un trentatreenne in collegamento con l’omicidio. Altri due uomini arrestati in precedenza sono stati rilasciati incondizionatamente.

Monaghan raid in Kerr murder probe

A house in Co Monaghan has been searched and a number of items seized by police investigating the murder of Constable Ronan Kerr.

The 25-year-old officer died in a car bomb attack outside his home in Omagh earlier this month.

As part of ongoing investigations, Garda raided a property in Scotstown, Co Monaghan on Tuesday evening.

No arrests were made but a number of items were taken away for forensic testing. None of these were said to be munitions.

Police are still questioning a 33-year-old man over the murder. Another two men who had been arrested were released without charge on Tuesday.
