Omicidio McDaid: minacciato il testimone

Uno dei principali testimoni dell’omicidio di Kevin McDaid a Coleraine è stato avvertito dalla polizia che la sua vita è minacciata.

Peter Neill ha detto di aver ricevuto minacce di morte da un gruppo lealista.

Neill è uno dei più importanti testimoni della polizia nelle udienze contro alcuni uomini, accusati di crimini collegati all’omicidio di Kevin McDaid ed al tentato omicidio di Damien Fleming.

Un portavoce della PSNI ha riferito: “Quando riteniamo che qualcuno abbia bisogno di rivedere la propria sicurezza personale, noi lo informiamo immediatamente”.

Witness in McDaid murder ‘under threat’

One of the main witnesses to the murder of Coleraine father Kevin McDaid has been warned by police that his life is under threat.
Peter Neill said he has received a death threat from a loyalist group.

Mr Neill is one of the main police witnesses in the case against a number of men charged in connection with the murder of Kevin McDaid and the attempted murder of Damien Fleming.

A PSNI spokesman said: “When we believe someone needs to review their personal security we inform them immediately.”
