Una Orange Hall nella Contea di Armagh è stata distrutto in un incendio notturno
Equipaggi di vigili del fuoco da Keady, Newtownhamilton ed Armagh sono giunti nel luogo dell’incendio, ma era completamente appiccato quando sono arrivati.
Secondo il comandante Martin McStay c’è voluta circa un’ora di lavoro per mettere l’incendio sotto controllo.
I suoi uomini non sono riusciti ad entrare in ciò che restava della Orange Hall per indagare le cause dell’incendio perché l’intero edificio era instabile.
Adesso sta indagando la polizia.
Drew Nelson dell’Orange Order ha riferito che la Hall era stata in precedenza seriamente danneggiata in un attacco incendiario nel 1970.
Per il Gran Segretario dell’ordine la Hall veniva utilizzata da una piccola loggia orangista di circa 14 iscritti.

Orange hall is destroyed by fire
An Orange hall in County Armagh has been destroyed in an overnight fire.
Fire crews from Keady, Newtownhamilton and Armagh attended the blaze, but it was completely alight when they arrived.
Fire Commander Martin McStay said it took about an hour to get the fire under control.
His officers were not able to enter the remains of the hall to investigate the cause as the building was too unstable.
The police are now investigating.
Drew Nelson from the Orange Order said the hall had previously been badly damaged in an arson attack in 1970.
Mr Nelson said it was used by a small Orange lodge of about 14 members .
