Gli artificieri hanno messo in sicurezza un ordigno trovato vicino ad un’area giochi per bambini a Strabane
La polizia ha detto che è stato “incosciente fino all’estremo” abbandonare l’ordigno vicino all’area giochi.
“Questo ordigno ha causato molti disagi, ma le conseguenze di un’esplosione sarebbero state molto peggiori”, ha affermato un portavoce della PSNI.
“Vogliamo ringraziare la gente della zona di Carlton Drive, i leader della comunità per la loro pazienza e sostegno oggi e chiediamo loro qualsiasi informazione possano avere per portare davanti alla giustizia chi ha cercato di provocare morti o gravi feriti”.

Device found near children’s play area in Strabane
Army bomb experts have made safe a viable device found near a children’s play area in Strabane.
Police said it was “reckless in the extreme” to abandon the device near the play area.
“This device caused a lot of disruption, but the consequences of an explosion would have been much worse,” a PSNI spokesman said.
“We want to thank the people of the Carlton Drive area, their community leaders for their patience and support today and ask them for any information they have that could bring to justice those who would seek to cause death or serious injury.”
