RAMSEY PRESSES JUSTICE MINISTER ON MARIAN PRICE
SDLP Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has pressed the Justice Minister on the continued detention of Marian Price at a meeting today where he further highlighted the injustice of her incarceration as a result of the revocation of her license by the Secretary of State
Mr Ramsey said:
“I raised with the Justice Minister the issue of the current incarceration of Marian Price and her state of health which I believe to be morally wrong given Ms Price is being detained as a result of the Secretary of State’s action in revoking her license, a totally unaccountable act. I asked the Minister to commit to liaising with the Secretary of State on the issue, particularly that of the Royal Prerogative of Mercy which I recently raised with the NIO.
This case is of paramount importance to bring a new level of confidence in how we deal with Justice related matters. I made it very clear to the Minister that Ms Price’s health is critically important and that the stress caused to her and her family in relation to her care in Maghaberry need to be at the forefront of discussions between the DOJ and NIO.
I want to make it clear that Ms Price should be released and I conveyed this to the Minister and his officials this afternoon.”
non sta a me discutere sull’integrità morale di marian price ma domando a tutti voi:basta lottare per l’autodeterminazione del proprio popolo,per respirare liberi l’aria della propria terra,per vedere correre libera solo l’acqua dei propri fiumi,BASTA SOLO QUESTO per essere tacciati di terrorismo?forse molta gente dovrebbe prima farsi 1 giro per l’irlanda del nord e vedere le condizioni di quella parte di popolazione che viene tacciata di repubblicanesimo come se fosse marchiata dalla peste o dall’aids.no,quella gente vuol solo vivere in pace anche con la parte protestante,ma senza vedere sfilare x le proprie vie gente che la insulta durante le parate orangiste e senza dover vivere il saint patric day come i carbonari del nostro risorgimento.oggi in italia forse avremmo bisogno di tante marion price.lottare x la propria patria non ti rende terrorista,ma “PATRIOTA”!!!!ONORE A MARION PRICE E A TUTTI I PRIGIONIERI POLITICI
