La parata, avvenuta il 23 gennaio 2011, chiedeva il rilascio del repubblicano di Lurgan Martin Corey.
Gli organizzatori non avevano chiesto in anticipo il permesso alla Commissione Parate.
Tra gli imputati anche il presidente del Republican Sinn Fein Des Dalton ed il vice-presidente Ferghal Moore.
Un portavoce dell’RSF ha affermato: “Nel Medio Oriente la gente viene applaudita per il proprio coraggio a scendere in strada per cercare un cambiamento politico, ma nelle Sei Contee occupate i repubblicani irlandesi vengono perseguitati per aver fatto la stessa cosa.
“Questo rappresenta una parte della repressione diretta contro il Republican Sinn Fein e contro chiunque si rifiuta di accettare l’occupazione britannica e la partizione della storica nazione irlandese.
“Il processo di Craigavon è il tentativo di costringere i repubblicani ad allontanarsi dalle strade”.

The parade, which took place on January 23 last year, demanded the release of jailed Lurgan republican Martin Corey.
The organisers did not seek prior permission from the Parades Commission, it has been alleged.
The defendants include Republican Sinn Fein (RSF) President Des Dalton and Vice-President Ferghal Moore.
A spokesperson for RSF said: “In the Middle East people are being applauded for their courage in taking to the streets to seek political change, but in the Occupied Six Counties Irish Republicans are being prosecuted for doing the same thing.
“This represents part of a pattern of repression directed against Republican Sinn Féin and all of those who refuse to accept British occupation and the partition of the historic Irish nation.
“The Craigavon trial is an attempt to force Republicans off the streets.”
