Police uncover ‘viable’ device
SECURITY forces have recovered a “viable device” in Armagh City.
The find follows an anonymous call on Thursday morning stating that an object had been left in the Friary Road area.
Several homes were evacuated while Army technical officers examined the suspicious object.
A police spkesperson confirmed that the item has been removed for further examination.
