RAAD rivendica il ferimento di Creggan

Il Republican Action Against Drugs (RAAD) ha ammesso la propria responsabilità per il ferimento di un ventinovenne avvenuto martedì scorso nel quartiere di Creggan a Derry.

All’uomo hanno sparato ad entrambe le gambe in Rinmore Drive. E’ ancora ricoverato in ospedale.

In una dichiarazione al Derry Journal, il RAAD afferma di aver avvisato l’uomo per le sue presunte attività.

“Ha mancato di prestare attenzione all’avvertimento ed è stato punito”, viene affermato dal RAAD.

Gli spari sono stati eseguiti intorno alle 18.30 in un vicolo che unisce i negozi di Creggan con Rinmore Drive.

Negli ultimi 18 mesi si ritiene il RAAD responsabile di una dozzina di ferimenti.

RAAD claim Creggan shooting

Republican Action Against Drugs (RAAD) have claimed responsibility for the shooting of a 29 year-old man in the Creggan area of the city on Tuesday night.

The man was shot in both legs in the incident at Rinmore Drive. He is still recovering in hospital.

In a statement to the ‘Journal’, RAAD claim they warned the individual last year about alleged activities.

“He failed to heed the warning and was punished,” the statement added.

The shooting occurred at 6.30pm in an alleyway which runs from the Creggan shops alongside Rinmore Drive.

RAAD are believed to have been behind more than a dozen shootings in Derry in the last 18 months.
