I gruppi armati repubblicani sarebbero responsabili di due differenti attacchi avvenuti a Belfast
A West Belfast un giovane è stato colpito al petto. Gli investigatori stanno indagando per tentato omicidio.
Un secondo uomo è stato colpito alla gamba a North Belfast mercoledì 15 luglio.
La polizia dice che il ventenne è rimasto ferito al petto da un colpo di arma da fuoco dopo che qualcuno ha sparato attraverso la finestra della cucina di un’abitazione in Areema Drive a Dunmurry, poco prima delle 22:45.
Il giovane è ricoverato presso il Royal Victoria Hospital.
Un portavoce della polizia ha detto: “Si ritiene che l’uomo fosse all’interno della casa ed è stato colpito attraverso la finestra della cucina dell’abitazione.
“L’entità del danno non è nota in questo momento”.
La polizia sta anche indagando un secondo incidente avvenuto in una casa abbandonata in Spamount Street poco prima delle 21:30.
L’uomo è stato trasportato al Mater Hospital per le cure del caso.
La polizia ha lanciato un appello per chiunque abbia informazioni sui due diversi incidenti.

TWO MEN CHEAT SERIOUS INJURY IN DISSIDENT REPUBLICAN GUN ATTACKS IN BELFAST
DISSIDENT republicans are being blamed for carrying out two separate guns attacks across Belfast.
A young man was shot in the chest in west Belfast which detectives are treating as attempted murder.
A second man was shot in the leg during in north Belfast on Wednesday, July 15.
Police say a man in his 20s received a gunshot wound to his chest after he was shot through the kitchen window of a house at Areema Drive in Dunmurry shortly before 10.45 pm.
He is being treated in the Royal Victoria Hospital.
A police spokesman said: “It is believed that the man had been inside the house and was shot through the kitchen window of the house.
“The extent of injury is unknown at this time.”
Police are also probing a second incident at a derelict house in Spamount Street shortly before 9.30 pm.
The man has been taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment.
Police have appealed for anyone with information about the two separate incidents to contact them on the 101 non-emergency number or through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
