Republican Network for Unity critica i bizzarri commenti di David Ford

Il presidente del Republican Network for Unity (RNU), Danny McBrearty, definisce i commenti fatti da David Ford di Alliance Party come profondamente offensivi

Il probabile ministro della Giustizia di Stormont, David Ford, ha affermato che la Saville Inquiry “era inutile e così è ogni richiesta su di essa”. L’indagine venne avviata per portare a galla la verità sul brutale assassinio di 14 cittadini disarmati di Derry per mano delle truppe britanniche nel genaio 1972. Il grossolano commento del leader dell’Alliance Party ha insultato i parenti delle vittime e la stragrande maggioranza della popolazione di Derry.

L’e-mail di Ford ha finalmente mostrato la sua bizzarra definizione di cosa è la Giustizia. Ha anche dimostrato la sua arroganza su ciò che significa il Bloody Sunday per la comunità nazionalista/repubblicana e in che modo esagera il recente Conflitto.

Il RNU non ignorerà il ruolo individuale avuto dai cripto-unionisti, compreso David Ford, che non hanno fatto nulla per ottenere giustizia per le persone uccise e ferite durante il Bloody Sunday.

RNU slams Ford’s bizarre comments

The REPUBLICAN NETWORK for UNITY (RNU) Cathaoirleach/Chairperson, DANNY MCBREARTY, slams comments made by David Ford of the Alliance Party as grossly offensive.

Stormont’s reputed Justice Minister David Ford claimed the Saville Inquiry ‘was pointless and so is any question on it’. The Inquiry was initiated to re-examine the truth behind the brutal murder of 14 unarmed Derry residents by British troops in January 1972. The Alliance Leader’s crass statement has insulted the victims’ relatives and the vast majority of people in Derry.

Ford’s e-mail has finally exposed his bizarre definition of what Justice is. It has also demonstrated his holier than thou arrogance about what Bloody Sunday means to the Nationalist/Republican community and how it exaggerated the recent Conflict.

For our part, RNU will not ignore the invidious role played by crypto-unionists including, David Ford who have done nothing to help obtain justice for those killed and injured during Bloody Sunday”.
