Il Republican Network for Unity (RNU) è nato nel 2007, dopo che lo Sinn Féin ha appoggiato il servizio di polizia britannica in Irlanda. Da allora il gruppo è stato visto come un’organizzazione che racchiude tutti i gruppi politici repubblicani irlandesi o solo quelli interessati ad opporsi alla polizia politica. O a entrambe.
A causa di queste idee sbagliate e vista la crescente adesion, l’Ard Chomhairle (Esecutivo) RNU è stato incaricato dai vari Cumain (Sezioni) del Paese di documentare esaurientemente la visione socialista del gruppo per il futuro e la sua alternativa rivoluzionaria repubblicana alla politica costituzionale.
La scorsa settimana il RNU ha pubblicato un lungo documento intitolato “Restare fuori dal processo di pace”. Si tratta di una critica rivoluzionaria repubblicana del processo di pacificazione irlandese e può essere letta qui sotto.
STANDING OUTSIDE THE ‘PEACE PROCESS’ – RNU
The Republican Network for Unity (RNU) was formed after Sinn Féin endorsed British Policing in Ireland in 2007, since then the group has been viewed as either an umbrella organisation for all Irish Republican political groups and only interested in opposing Political Policing or both.
Due to these misconceptions and an increasing membership, RNU’s Ard Chomhairle (Executive) was tasked by it’s various Cumain (Branches) from across the Country to comprehensively document the group’s socialist vision for the future and it’s Revolutionary Republican alternative to constitutional politics.
