Rientrato allarme sicurezza ad Antrim

L’allarme lanciato nel pomeriggio di domenica nel quartiere di Rathenraw è terminato. I residenti, evacuati dalla polizia, sono tornati nelle abitazioni

Gli artificieri dell’esercito britannico hanno rimosso un oggetto lasciato all’esterno di una casa in Norfolk Square.

Alcuni residenti hanno dovuto abbandonare la propria abitazione, ma ora sono potuti rientrare in casa.

Trevor Clarke, parlamentare DUP per South Antrim, ha condannato chi si cela dietro all’abbandono dell’oggetto sospetto e afferma che è stato un grosso inconveniente per i residenti dover lasciare le loro case.

Ha aggiunto: “I responsabili dovrebbero pensare a ciò che otterranno piazzando tali ordigni. La risposta è: nulla”.

Residents return home after Antrim security alert

A security alert in Rathenraw estate on Sunday afternoon in Antrim has ended.

Army technical officers have removed an object from outside a house in Norfolk Square in the estate.

A number of people who were asked to leave their homes for a time have been allowed to return.

DUP MLA for South Antrim, Trevor Clarke, has condemned those responsible for leaving the object and said it had been a great inconvenience for residents forced to move.

He added: “Those responsible ought to think what they will achieve by planting such a device. The answer is nothing.”
