Rilasciate le persone fermate per omicidio Doherty

Nessuna accusa è stata sollevata contro le due persone fermate ed interrogate dalla polizia in collegamento con l’omicidio di Kieran Doherty

La zia di Doherty, Priscilla Doherty, 40 anni, era stata arrestata insieme a Martin O’Neill, 42 anni, a Derry nella giornata di martedì.

Kieran Dhoerty, 31 anni, era membro della Real IRA. Fu ucciso dalla stessa organizzazione nel 2010.

Lord Carlile, un consigliere indipendente per la sicurezza, sta indagando le voci secondo cui il servizio segreto inglese MI5 sarebbe coinvolto nell’omicidio.

Two arrested over Kieran Doherty murder are released

Two people who were being questioned by police in connection with the murder of dissident republican Kieran Doherty have been released without charge.

Mr Doherty’s aunt, Priscilla Doherty, 40, was arrested along with Martin O’Neill, 42, in Londonderry on Tuesday.

Mr Doherty, 31, who was a member of the Real IRA, was murdered by the organisation in 2010.

Independent security advisor Lord Carlile is investigating claims MI5 was involved in Mr Doherty’s murder.
