I tre uomini arrestati a North Belfast sono stati rilasciati incondizionatamente
La prima bomba – una granata – era stata ritrovata all’esterno di un videonoleggio, dopo alcune telefonate anonime di avvertimento.
Il secondo ordigno, scoperto il giorno seguente, era attaccato ad una bicicletta da bambino.
La polizia nel corso di questa settimana aveva rilasciato le fotografie della bicicletta e quella di un uomo nel videonoleggio.
L’Ispettore Capo Justyn Galloway ha detto che la bomba lasciata all’esterno del negozio Xtra-Vision serviva per attirare e uccidere gli agenti di polizia.

City alert trio released
Three men arrested in north Belfast in connection with two bombs found during a three-day security alert in the area have been released unconditionally.
The first bomb – a shrapnel device – was found outside a video rental store last month following a number of anonymous telephone warnings.
The second bomb was discovered a day later after a follow-up search. It was attached to a child’s bicycle.
Earlier this week, images of the bike and of a man at the video store were released by police.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Justyn Galloway, said the bomb made safe outside Xtra-Vision was planted in a bid to lure and kill officers.
