Riot di Ardoyne: la PSNI pubblica altre otto foto
Pictures of Ardoyne riot suspects released
The police have released photos of another eight people they want to speak to in connection with rioting in Ardoyne on the Twelfth of July.
Officers were attacked with blast bombs, petrol bombs, bricks and other missiles. They responded with baton rounds and water cannons.
The violence continued for another two nights in Ardoyne.
A team of 20 officers have been trawling through hundreds of hours of CCTV footage and thousands of photographs.
Detectives have also been examining video sharing and social networking sites to check if the rioters or their friends have posted potential evidence.
The policeman leading the inquiry said 71 people have been arrested so far over the trouble, 47 of which relate to disorder in North and West Belfast.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Little said he hoped people could help identify the suspects.
“Since the serious disturbances erupted, we have had a tremendous response from members of the public to our appeals so far”.
“I’m hopeful that the community will again help us identify these men whom we’d like to talk to in connection with our investigation into the disorder that wreaked havoc on local people in north Belfast this summer,” he said.
