RNU solidale con i residenti di Short Strand

Republican Network for Unity (RNU) è solidale con gli assediati residenti di Short Strand mentre subiscono l’ennesimo assalto da parte di elementi anti-sociali utilizzati dalle bande lealiste per innalzare le tensioni prima della loro annuale festa bigotta.

I residenti sono oggetto quotidiano di lanci di bottiglie, mattoni, bulloni, biglie, bottiglie molotov e altri pericolosi oggetti provenienti dall’area di Thistle Court e facilitati dalla polizia.

I continui attacchi settari contro la gente di Short Strand illustra la realtà di una situazione immutata per larga parte della comunità nazionalista a Belfast e in tutto il Nord dell’Irlanda.

RNU denuncia i pericolosi attacchi dal vicino covo di anti-nazionalisti e chiede agli abitanti di Short Strand di rimanere pronti a reagire alle avversità e dignitosi di fronte a questa violenza aiutata dallo Stato.

RNU stands with the people of Short Strand

Republican Network for Unity stand in solidarity with the besieged residents of Short Strand as they undergo another sustained assault from anti-social elements being used by Loyalist gangs to heighten tensions in the lead up to their annual bigotfest.

Residents are currently subjected to daily attacks in the form of bottles, bricks, bolts, marbles, petrol bombs and other dangerous missiles being launched from Thistle Court and facilitated by the RUC/PSNI.

The continuing sectarian attacks on the people of the Short Strand illustrates the unchanging reality of life for large sections of the nationalist community in Belfast and throughout the North of Ireland.

RNU denounce the dangerous attacks from the nearby anti-nationalist hovel and call on Short Strand residents to remain resilient and dignified in the face of state facilitated violence.
