Second man charged with Antrim murder
A 50-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a financial adviser in Northern Ireland.
He is the second person charged over the death of Geoff Kerr, 60, who was shot dead at his home in Templepatrick, Co Antrim, by intruders who came to his door on 27 April.
The man will appear at Larne Magistrates Court later this morning.
On Monday another man was in court charged with murdering the father-of-four.
Darren Ivan Kernohan, 33, from Moss Drive, Antrim, spoke only to confirm he understood the charges during a five-minute hearing at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court.
He was remanded in custody to appear via video link at Antrim Magistrates’ Court on 26 May.
