Attacco con arma da fuoco contro una casa di Ballymena

Un proiettile è stato sparato attraverso una finestra di un’abitazione in Orkney Drive nel quartiere di Ballykeel 2, intorno alle 1:50 di lunedì. Nessuno è rimasto ferito.

Alcuni colpi di arma da fuoco erano già stati sparati contro la stessa casa alla fine di settembre, in un attacco collegato ad una faida scoppiata nella zona.

Due ore prima un attacco con bottiglie incendiarie era stato lanciato cotro una casa ed un’autovettura nella vicina Francis Street. La polizia, per ora, non collega i due eventi tra loro.

L’autovettura è stata distrutta e piccole bruciature sono state causate ad una finestra della casa. Anche in questo caso, nessuno è stato ferito nell’attacco.

La polizia chiede a chiunque abbia assistito agli attacchi, di mettersi in contatto con loro.

Shot fired through window of home

There has been a gun attack on a house in Ballymena.

A shot was fired through the window of a house at Orkney Drive in the town’s Ballykeel 2 estate at about 0150 BST on Monday. No-one was injured.

A number of shots were fired at the same house at the end of September in an attack linked to a feud in the area.

Two hours before Sunday’s attack petrol bombs were thrown at a house and a car at nearby Francis Street. Police are not linking the attacks at this stage.

The car was destroyed and scorch damage was caused to a window of the house. No-one was injured.

They have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
